The Fotona laser, especially using the Nd:YAG wavelength (1064 nm), is a highly effective treatment for capillaries and vascular changes on the face and body. It allows precise targeting of blood vessels without damaging the surrounding skin.

How does it work?
The Nd:YAG laser is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood vessels. The heat from the laser closes the capillaries, which are then naturally reabsorbed by the body and gradually disappear within a few weeks.

What can be treated?
Broken facial capillaries (most commonly around the nose and cheeks), leg capillaries, rosacea, telangiectasias (red/blue blood vessels), hemangiomas, and venous lakes (on the lips).

How many treatments are needed?
Usually 1 to 3 treatments, depending on the size and depth of the capillaries.
