What is botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin is a highly popular procedure that represents a safe and effective way to reduce and treat wrinkles caused by the activity of highly active facial mimic muscles.
Botulinum toxin has been used in medicine for over 40 years in the treatment of spastic disorders in neurology. However, it has reached its peak in aesthetic medicine for wrinkle reduction, and has been used for this purpose for more than 30 years. It is the most popular rejuvenation treatment, with more than 6 million procedures performed annually worldwide.
Botulinum toxin is one of the safest and most effective products available for wrinkle reduction due to its long history and extensive research. Globally, botulinum toxin treatment is known as a “lunchtime procedure,” as it sometimes takes only about 15 minutes.
