What are chemical peels?

Skin peels are designed to induce controlled injury at different depths of the skin, ranging from superficial to medium and deep layers.

When the peeling solution is applied to the skin, it triggers a change in its structure and the subsequent elimination (shedding) of the corresponding skin layer.
